What makes you passionate about working in childcare?
I have always had a passion working with children, especially in the early years. I love seeing how children develop over time and begin forming their own personalities. Being a teacher has really made me appreciate the journey a child goes through, from the new born stage to  becoming a preschool. I believe with my experience and qualifications, it has driven me to form a holistic approach that is enriching and builds on their life long learning.

What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare?
A very memorable moment for me was working with a particular family over the course of 3 years. I was able to see this child develop into an amazing and passionate learner. At the time, they struggle with their verbal language. I manage to work closely with the family and the child to support their communication skills. After a year of working very close on their language skills, their speech started to become more clear. They began forming small sentences and became confident with expressing themselves to their peers. This became such a special and positive moment in my career, as I was apart of their journey.

Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare?
I believe Papilio Early Learning offers a space for children to thrive in an encouraging and supportive environment. Our service offers many opportunities for children to grow and learn, which allows them to become excited about their time at Papilio. We also offer extra activities, including our Papilio Performing Arts, Hiphop, soccer and language classes. These experiences build on children’s language skills, gross motor skills and their concentration; linking to the Early Years Learning Framework. I believe Papilio Early Learning has many opportunities for families and children to feel supported, especially during the most important years.
